I’m a 5dmk2 user, and i want to make a leap on my work, i’m on a budget, and i’m looking for new lenses to improve my new projects. You can use the tokina 11-16mm on a 5D, there’s no problem at all, but you can only use it on 16mm, below that you’ll get vignetting issues, it’s a way to have a very good 16mm prime and cheaper than other wide angle primes. Outside brands like tokina, sigma, etc..has the same mount, but it depends on the sensor you have to run properly, there are lenses that are specifically made for crop sensors, and other that are made for full frame, but it doesn’t mean that will not fit into your camera, or damage it. It’s just Canon that have those 2 kind of mounts, ef and ef-s, but for the other brands it’s the same mount. I hope this helps a bit respect to the tokina theme…

Regards,
Alex
